Interesting Websites for home.
Here are some web sites that we have used or will use in the classroom to reinforce reading and reading skills. These websites are safe and active as of September 21, 2017. But, as always, please check any websites for errors and or inappropriate content before you let your child use them. If you find any websites that don't work, please let me know. I will try to update, remove and add websites as the school year progresses.
http://readingeggs.com/ This is the primary reading program we use in our Title 1 room. We have paid the annual subscription for the school year 2017-18. User names and passwords (only for Title 1 students) have already been sent home. If you need the log-in details to be sent home again, just contact us.

Due to the quality of these games, a high-speed Internet connection is required. The skills available on this site include syllables, blending, rhyming, segmenting, and deleting/substituting. K-2
